By accessing or using summerchang.co(the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by my Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

This Site is the personal portfolio of Summer Chang and showcases design work, case studies, writing, and information about design and consulting services. Content is provided for general informational purposes. Case studies and project descriptions reflect past work and may include client engagements, concept projects, and self-initiated builds.

Unless otherwise noted, all content on the Site — including text, design, layout, graphics, case studies, and code — is owned by or licensed to Summer Chang and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Some client work, logos, and product names belong to their respective owners and are shown for portfolio purposes only.

You may view and share links to the Site, but you may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of the content without permission.
• Use the content for commercial purposes without my written consent.
• Remove or alter any copyright or attribution notices.

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Submit false information or impersonate another person.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
• Interfere with the Site's operation, security, or other users' use of it.
• Use automated means to scrape or harvest content or data without permission.

When you submit the contact form, you may provide a phone number and consent to receive an automated/AI-assisted call from my assistant (“Bookee”). Submitting an inquiry does not create any obligation for me to provide services, and any project engagement is subject to a separate written agreement. You may subscribe to my newsletter using a double opt-in process. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting me. I may discontinue the newsletter or change its content at any time.

The Site may link to or rely on third-party websites and services (for example, scheduling, email, hosting, and AI providers). I'm not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

Information on the Site is not professional advice for your specific situation. Any design, consulting, or other services I provide are governed by a separate agreement that defines scope, deliverables, fees, and terms. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer or guarantee of services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Summer Chang from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in that jurisdiction.

I may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.
